Cold Rooms

Do you need a larger format vaccine storage facility? Or need to expand your current cold storage facilities in a warehouse, retail space, or food service environment? Modular cold rooms are ideal where space is limited, access is difficult or for use within an existing building or marquee. Flexible interlocking panels ensure modular cold rooms can be created on site to meet specific space requirements or can be easily extended to provide increased cold storage capacity.

A flexible approach to creation and construction continues with dual temperature functionality and the use of monoblock motors which ensure a cold room can be easily switched from fridge to freezer as required and risk of equipment downtime as a result of breakdown is reduced. Spare motors can be provided to plug in while repair takes place or until a service engineer arrives, providing continual running assurance.

State Health Agency

During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Lowe supplied a state health agency with modular cold rooms to store COVID-19 test kits, ensuring kits remained refrigerated at a consistent temperature to preserve equipment viability.  Utilizing pallet doors to provide easy access for restock and removal, Lowe supplied 8ftx20ft and 8ftx40ft modular cold rooms for 6 months.

Supplying Kitchens to Go, a leading provider of foodservice facility solutions, Lowe installed 2 8ftx20ft cold rooms for 2 hospitals in Farmville, Virginia.  Providing additional outdoor cold storage capacity for each hospital’s catering team to ensure reduced contact and risk of infection from food deliveries, creating a socially distanced drop off outdoors.

Hand Sanitisers

When running water is not available or easily accessible, hand sanitisers are a useful solution to ensure hand sanitation requirements are met and hygiene standards are maintained.  Portable and easy to use, each hand sanitiser unit is fitted with 1 litre dispensers which provide 500 gel dispenses approx. and contain 65% alcohol content.
