Christmas at the Spiegletent 4

Christmas at the Spiegeltent has been operating in Bristol for seven years. It uses a beautiful Belgian Spiegeltent – a circular wooden temporary building adorned with mirrors and stained glass windows.

The first shows saw 200 patrons sitting down for food and some cabaret acts. Now, 1,000 guests enjoy a high-quality three-course meal and a full evening’s entertainment from some of the country’s top cabaret acts.

The event has grown to be such a success that the team behind it decided to launch a sister event in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle in November 2019.

After working with PKL & in 2018, the Spiegeltent team chose to use us again in 2019 for the expansion to Liverpool.

The addition of Lowe’s large cold rooms – the biggest the team had ever used – proved perfect for the catering team’s delivery plans, using large Jackstands of pre-prepared starters and desserts. PKL’s kitchen and washup setup helped the small team to prepare and serve 1,200 customers a night throughout December, across two sites, smoothly and professionally.
