Adapting to Consumer Needs: Walmart's Deli Expansion Project with Lowe's Temporary Refrigeration Solutions for Uninterrupted Store Operations
Walmart strives to continuously enhance its customer experience and adapt to changing consumer needs. As part of their efforts, Walmart initiated a deli expansion project in five Neighborhood Market formats. This project involved significant refrigeration re-work and movement. To ensure minimal disruption to store operations and maintain customer satisfaction during the remodeling process, Lowe provided 14 temporary G8C refrigeration units initially, followed by an additional 33 units a week later. This allowed Walmart to keep the stores open, preserve customer satisfaction, and sustain sales while the refrigeration re-work was underway.
