The Project
The team at INKED Dubai recently set up an initiative to deliver well-balanced meals to frontline staff and people in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A part of the Alserkal Pay It Forward programme, the INKED team partnered with the Dubai Food Bank for distribution as well as the Dubai Health Authority to support medical staff across hospitals and clinics.
The project was further supported through people and organisations who were able to lend a helping hand by purchasing meals for frontline staff and those in need.
The Solution
Preparing meals en masse for one month requires robust refrigeration, catering, and food prep facilities. This was where the Lowe team were able to support.
Lowe Rental provided a number of upright refrigeration units along with catering equipment including stainless steel tables.
Utilising the dual temp G4 unit enabled the team to store both fresh and frozen ingredients. Stainless steel tables enabled the team to create a large space for preparing meals effectively. Stainless steel trolleys assisted in moving prepared meals from the preparation areas and on to delivery.
All equipment was rapidly delivered and installed on-site by the Lowe’s team of expert engineers.
