Lowe Rental welcomed refrigeration contractors and grocery retailers from across the UK to its Cheltenham facility on October 1st for a special product and service showcase, underlining the company’s commitment to providing a complete, end-to-end refrigeration offering.
The day opened with a welcome from Mark Raywood, Head of Retail at Lowe Rental, who outlined how the business is investing in people, technology, and services to support customers through every stage of their refrigeration journey.
Presentations from across the corporation highlighted the breadth of expertise across Lowe Rental
- Abbey Design Associates (ADA) demonstrated how its design and planning services help contractors deliver more efficient, practical refrigeration solutions.
- LoweConex showcased its smart remote monitoring and control platform, already deployed by leading UK retailers to drive energy efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimise asset performance.
- Rental+, a long-term rental model by Lowe Rental, was presented as a flexible way for retailers to access state-of-the-art equipment without the financial burden of ownership, supported by full servicing and maintenance.
Visitors also toured the Cheltenham site, including the retail showroom, where the latest refrigeration equipment ranges from Lowe Rental were on display. The event prompted lively discussion on how contractors can leverage the integrated capabilities of Lowe Rental to strengthen their service offering to retail clients.
Chris Newby of Ryan-Jayberg Limited reflected on the visit:
“Lowe Rental has been a valued partner for several years, and it’s clear they continue to invest in both their people and their capabilities to support contractors and retailers alike. Seeing their design, smart technology, and equipment solutions brought together under one roof reinforces the value they bring as a collaborative partner to the industry.
Mark Raywood added:
“Today’s showcase is about so much more than demonstrating our equipment. It’s about demonstrating how our group offering supports the whole refrigeration journey, from planning and design through to installation, monitoring, and ongoing optimisation. With ADA and LoweConex working alongside a global equipment base from Lowe Rental, we provide contractors with a joined-up solution that helps them meet the growing demands of retailers.
From design to deployment to digital, Lowe Rental continues to deliver the scale, expertise, and innovation that enable contractors and retailers to meet today’s refrigeration challenges with confidence.
